2021: End of the Season

After a very productive first 9 months in the community of Chahuaytire, Sinkumunchis will pause operations for an end-of-the-year break in order to hit the ground running in 2022. In the upcoming year, we expect to continue actively supporting the C.D. San José de Chahuaytire team in diverse provincial competitions having already subscribed the sporting institution into the Federación Peruana de Fútbol (Peruvian Soccer Federation). On top of this and with great enthusiasm, we hope to see the first developments of the remodeling of the community stadium which will allow us to operate in an even bigger capacity. Calling all communities of Pisac, we await for you in February!

As a “going-away” event, we closed the year with the Apu Muruwiqsha tournament. We spent a beautiful afternoon of community building and competition with players of the Sinkumunchis soccer school. We hope to continue building together and practicing this sport that we love so much and brings us so much joy. Until next year!
